busking?

just had a crazy idea...

does any one know how much buskers licences cost? cause we could get one for canberratrials riders (all share it...) and then when we ride we could just put out some sort of 'money hat' with a sign saying 'please donate to keep us on our bikes' ...or.... 'we need money for tonight's meal/middleburns/king hubs'..... what do u think?

maybe not the sign, but at least we could make some money (which we would spend on parts for ppl who need em) ...

I dont think its too good an idea, unless its done in a formal fashion like the street comp thingy in Garema Place a few months ago.
We are using public property to ride on, and i`m suprised we dont get told off as much as we do. So its really a privilage to be riding on stuff.
Thats just my gay thought

what about trying to get the council to build us a trials park? we could put up big 'dont do drugs' posters around it as a deal?
