video camera help me plz plz waaaaah!

hey yall

i bought a vid cam and spent weekend at dan pierces.. gettin drunk (lol), eatin maccas, ridin heaps and gettin lots of footage of insanity trials riding!!!

BUT!!! my p.o.s. vid cam wont let me put it on computer! I cant even get the video to open on computer

ok... it lets me put still pics up... and now im readin the shit wif it... says transfer of stil images to computer (NOTHING ABOUT VIDEO!! )

its a panasonic nv-ds60

has computer cable adapter... and some dv thing...

please help me!!!!

you will need a firewire card and cable......

I see that your camera has a Firewire out (IEEE 1394) port on it....so it is possible.

I also see that it is a DV camera and not a DVi which means you can not transfer the video back to your camera....this can be a pain as after you edit transfaring to a video can be a pain from the computer...DVD burning is the way to go....
