yeah, i found a nice crack on my frame on the weld between the BB and Seat tube, so, although it will take me a while to save for it, what should i go for . nothing over like $600-$700, coz i think my frame will be dead in the next 6-7 weeks and thats how long it'l take me 2 save so...

well seb I think you know as well as anyone else what the realistic options are in the australian market. PX, echo, brisa and monty are all around and available, although I'd recommend against brisa stocks and monty generally. If you feel that a long frame might suit you an echo pure would be a good choice, you can feel free to try mine any time, it's the shorter version. if you want something closer in geometry to your current frame than an echo urban might be suitable, although you now use maguras and you might prefer the 4-bolt mounts...but ask Dan he may be able to get the urbans with 4-bolts.
PX - decent quality frame, good geometry, Australian importers are low quality human beings and should not be supported in any way.

yeah i was thinking pure or urban...probably an echo...i am thinking medium length like the shorter pure , but is it true the longer the frame is the bigger/higher you can go(eg padal ups, sidehops)?

yeah, aside from strength echo is your best bet. PX have stopped selling zebdies in the uk, but they'll still sell them in us and canada, but i havnt heard anything about australia. Koxx, Brisa, Monty are all too expensive probably, unless you can find a second hand one somewhere (dodgy). Out of urban and pure, I'd go pure, but that view is probably really influenced by how different joel's and nick's setups are. If you wanna spend even less money theres always zoo...

is it true the longer the frame is the bigger/higher you can go(eg padal ups, sidehops)? That depends on 100000 different things, but if you had to identical frames with identical parts but one was a few cms longer than the other, yeah maybe you'd go a few cms bigger, but i've never tried so cant be sure

last I heard RRP on a pure was something like 950. I just assumed zoo would be cheaper, maybe its not.

hmmmm well if the pure is 950 i definately wont get it . hmmm, how much is the desalvo frame? ;D does anyone know how it rides?(dan?when u get bak from fassi) and can u get it with a replaceable dereilleur hangar and if not is it a worry? i dont really hit mine any more but im starting 2 sidehop...? hmm, and none of these questions will matter if the frame is over $750(which it probably is)

dude Dan can answer all of these questions in a single email...
the desalvo rides however you want it to, it's a custom bike. Their standard geometry trials bike is similar to echo pure though.
either way desalvos will be well within the four figure price range.
email Dan about Echo pricing, these things are flexible.

you cant realy get anything much for less then 700 new except maybe a rhino. They go alright, stronger then the previous echos, to early to tell about the pure.

cool, i think zoos ride fairly good geo wise (so i hear), but i dont know about flex/strength. just be gentle and it should last a while.
