ok, he wrote back saying that he only has the spanish fly pads in stock right now, so i think ill wait till he hears back from the supplier as to when he can get the standard plaz in stock.
the price is $45 + $6 shipping (for four pads -spanish fly) (Canadian dollars) so it'll probably cost you $57AUD

oh for fcuks sake you guys
spanish fly pads are similar to the old monty milk pads, they are a hard compound (regular plaz is soft compound) and are designed to be used with a grind or tar - with which they would work well...
soft compound = better grip, faster wear hard compound = worse grip, slower wear
so hard compound is good for ground rims and soft compound good for smooth rims
and again I stress, don't rely on using tar on your v-brakes

yeah plaz are grippier in nice clean conditions, but im using plain old black jagwire pads now with a grind and it rocks! And yeah i have a mega mega grind on my rim (used a tuncston carbide cutter on em hehehe ) So yeahi want em to see how nice they are on grind... seeing as they have been made for it pretty much. Peace
