Hey Guys, Looks like I will be heading up for the comp, we'll be flying in Saturday night and prob stay in the city somewhere, not sure yet. If anyone can help us out with suggestions towards accomadation/transport options, I would love to hear from you.
Also if I can be of any help on the day I will be more than happy to offer my services.

there's a youth hostel in the city which is, I think, OK. There's also best westerns and things around which shouldn't be too full at that time of year. There's a cheap shuttle bus runs from the airport to the city on the half hour or the hour or something.

Hey I'm also coming down from Brissy for this. Just wanted to check though whether the canberra domestic terminal is in the same place as the domestic one cause whereis.com only lists an international terminal...
Thanks Jack

International, thats funny.
No we dont have one, even if it says it is international, the only person to fly international would be johnny boy, and perhaps gorge and liz when they visit.
Im sure the boys can organise some transports for some? What times are you getting in?

I'm happy to do the flyer PV, whatever though. Do you have a picture of the location?
All I know is that it's Sunday 30 July 2006.
Location: Stromlo Forest (Do I need more details)?
Registration Time: ?
Comp Time: ? do we have different times for different classes?
Cost: ? $15 mtba plus $15 entry?
Is there anything else I need to know?
As for everyone else keen to ride, I'll be taking Monday off I think so I'm happy to ride Saturday/Sunday night/Monday.

ok we have the official permission to use stromlo we wont have an ambulance on hand cause it will cost heaps, we will have the trailer from corc and in that will be a first aid box, tent, tables, chairs, generator, stationary, numbers etc i will pick that up. go ahead with sending out of flyers to biketrials australia so that rod can send them to all on the mail list, flyer looks good.

sweet - the other CORC event of the weekend is at Kowen forest and not Stromlo - does this seems strange to anyone else? We'll be all by ourselves - which is OK.

Do you think I should leave the price off? Are the times okay? I've done two versions, as can be seen above. Is there a preference? As soon as someone confirms I'll post it.
So we have a comp site that we don't have permission to use that's in the middle of nowhere?
