That's right depending on the outcomes of a psych exam. Mad init. Dave won over 50's nationals, and I came second, but we are in different age groups. I came 5th in SS. cheers Jack

Single speed short course races @ Majura this (Sat) arvo. Sponsored by Mal, no entry, wear a dress, otherwise if you like riding just bring your bike. I'm not sure that my riding will sustain a race I might have to wear a dress. Joel can I look through your wardrobe. Cheers Jack

you can look through my wardrobe. I only have a couple of skirts that would fit around your piston-like man-thighs though. Shame I'm missing it.

it. the race. Shame I'm missing the majura race. The brest thing kind of crumbled, I was forced to abandon at the ~45 hour mark, 650km in with a tearing Achilles tendon. I had been taking painkillers and ibuprofen for my knees and didn't really feel the extensive damage to this fairly important tendon. Hit me pretty suddenly, couldn't push through it.
A shame, to put in 1/3 of a year's income, a month out of the country and a lot of hope into achieving something only to have it pulled... but still. Good mental training for the 24hr I guess. I won't think twice about riding for 24 hours having now done it for nearly twice that.
oh and it rained for 3/4 of my time. Shit that.

Joel, Apis have again taken administration to new depths, you and me are indeed both entered in Open solo ss, although the team lists don't reflect this. I'n fact according to the CORC website I'm not even entered. There are 10 of us in ss, so I expect a top 10 finish at least. I'll see you out there. Have you got support, I'm setting up camp on Friday with Dave, and then coming back Saturday morning. give me a call if you need anything, 0421861965, cheers Jack
