I have 2 slightly used Tioga white tigers (nice 2.5s) and 1 slightly used michelin 2.2" dh tyre. All with plenty of life left, all great trials tyres, all free.
If you're buying tyres though, buy maxxis. They're the best value in Australia for trials, dh, xc, road etc. Don't have any supple 28s for touring but that's a minor complaint.

See maxxis, if you want to buy, sticky larsens, nice tyres and brand new. XC tyres, well maxxis are fine and possibly cheap but velociraptors are proving to be an excellent front tyre, grippy, great for local conditions. Also not too xxxy, by WTB. G'day Joel, now what about that Monty?

this will sound tight, but I found the tires I'm using at the moment at revolve. They provide bins to dispose of tires and rubber products there, and I found 2 half used downhill tires next to the bin, and got them for $1 each! One is a Duro Leopard and the other is an Instense somethingorather.

Joel, don't worry about the Monty, I did eventually get one. I sold all my bikes and got others in, including a carbon beauty for enduro events. I got an old Monty Alp from a nice guy called Andrew, who actually exists in Tuggeranong. I got some new lights too. I thought that you had departed for patures greener.

yeah they will. Andrew's is the monty I was thinking of Jack. The distributor never got back to me anyway, I guess he's more into dealing direct with the public (which is cool), despite the retailer listings on his site. I got my light too, the same vicious arc that Dave was using that night. I'm keen to mount it on the helmet and do some off-roading some night. I have lots of warm riding gear as well, which makes commuting much much better. Be sure to bring that carbon beauty out yes Andrew, I still have those three tyres. You can collect them in the belconnen area once I get them in from the farm... I'll let you know. - Joel

Awsome, just write a post in this thread when you get them and i will come round and pick them up. Did anyone get hit hard by the mini-storm that came through 2 nights ago? The street i live in (with mum at Qbn) got trashed dunno how the rest of canberra held up.

Joel, I bought Ay Ups, they are lithium polymer, 12 hours of light from helmet and bars, Australian made and about 550 bucks. Yes we can get out for a ride one night, unfortunately the carbon still has not made me ride any faster. The reason I was charging for the tyres was that I only just bought them myself. I've lost your number again Joel.
