I have no idea, i don't think they have a problem with it, i guy i know who works there said he has done a few foriegners for other staff.... but i won't really be in the right area to be doing home jobs. I've gotten a job as a fitter - not a machinist. My plan really is to wait for another job in the tool room to come up, but at the moment the job i've gotten is a pay rise and local, and and ongoing public service possition, so I'm content.... I'm going to be doing maintenance and whatever sorts of odd jobs they have for me, and i think that i will literally be making money (proof coins) the rest of the time....
The only bad thing will be that the public will be able to watch me work.... but I'll live.

Just think of it as if u where a monkey in a zoo, scratch ur ass once and a while and the public will be entertained. good luck with the new job tho
i couldnt make the last ride was on the ill side of things but where and when would the next ride be?
Cheers Andrew

I won't be able to make it this week, went riding last night and got a nice pedal gash back to the shinbone. Must wear shinpads!

the last time i did that a doctor at emergency had to dig a small rock and a blade of grass out of my shin bone with a small pick and a tiny wire brush..... and the triage nurse was a dude who refused to wear gloves!!!!
i still forget to wear pads.....

This week's ride will be at the ANU rocks. Fun, technical but not big rocks just off Barry drive near the city. Nice and shady. By the water of Sullivan's creek. Don't count on drinking it. I have marked the most convenient free parking spot, which is also shaded. I'll be there from 6, if anyone wants to amend the time just post and we'll discuss. - Joel
