hey all,
my 2001 echo es3 urban is for sale . cracked once, rewelded and gusseted, not repainted but still quite sexy
GREAT urban riding geo . super short stays, shorter than the current echo urban . this thing rides so damn light .
this frame actually has a really nice feel to it, should still last several months depending how well you treat it . only $100 and i can throw in truvativ hussafelt trials cranks with dmr ringthing bashring and i dunno what chainring and if you are willing to wait til about december 10(probably earlier) i can throw in a ritchey headset . cranks still nice and stiff, completely scratched up tho, but hey its $100 for a frame, headset and cranks . and if you add another $30 i will give you a very nice and VERY good condition Salsa arc-de-triomphe v-brake booster, coz ive got(getting) 4-bolt frame(+booster)
ok, sum up :
-Echo Urban frame, ritchey headset, truvativ hussafelt isis drive cranks for $100
-Echo Urban frame, ritchey headset, truvativ hussafelt isis drive cranks AND salsa Arc-de-Triomphe booster for $130 .
Also if you are willing to wait until december like 10th(or again, probably earlier) i can also probably throw in an echo bulge bar in immaculate condition for an extra $70 ono . ;D
unless it dosnt sell in canberra id like to keep it in canberra, but if you want it enough i cant pay postage, too poor .
c yall
-Seb .

Seb have u sold that frame yet? very interested. Is there anything wrong with the frame? anything bent or threaded or anything? whats the story with the bars, how much hav they been used? When u say cranks, do u include the bottom bracket?
neways hope to talk, cos a stock frame would b awesome!
Shaun
P.S. one more thing, how long have u had it?

hey sean,
it depends if simon is buying or not, otherwise you can have it...
i have had the frame for about 9 months, im just selling it all for a bit extra money after i get my new frame, but it will probably crack(again) in like another 4 months give or take, depending on how well you treat it, you can get a great weld job from hume automotive though with gussets .
No nothing on it is bent or threaded, i can give you some money off ($40-$50??)for a new hanger because that one is weakening, its perfectly straight though i straightened it with a vice, but if you hit it, it could brake .
the only reason i am selling the bars is because i already have a sick bar and stem setup(koxx), i am pretty sure the bars are in damn good nic though, the only person that used them was dan for like the 2 months(im guessing) he had his echo .
No, sorry, the cranks dont come with a bottom bracket .
Also, just in case you misread, the weldjobs have not been repainted, but it still looks fine .
If you like i can make you a deal, i can give you the whole thing(frame, cranks, headset, bars, booster) for $120, thats a good deal although its all scratched(aprt from the bar and headset) or lacking paint .
One last thing, you cant go TOO hard on the bashring, or it could bend a bit . Remeber that the frame and cranks are 3rd hand, but hey, its $120, you couldnt buy brand new echo bar and stem for less than that! ;D

i'm only buying the frame cause its cheap - i'm not gonna use it, i'd just build it up from spare parts and either sell it or just have it just in case. sean if you need it then i wont get it.

dude this frame has the best urban geometry and all the parts are good . the stays are as short as possible, the frame is quite short, the standover height is massive, its barely possible to hit your knees on the frame unless you are like 3ft tall . the only reason im selling the booster is because im getting 4-bolt frame and therefore a 4-bolt booster so i have no need for my current one (i have a front disc...) . all the parts are fine, im just rich and spoilt and go to glamour school, and barely spend any of my money on anyone but myself and i only spend money on bike related, so i bought everything that i wanted even know all my parts were fine...its the same deal with the frame, and also i prefer natural riding and prefer the feel of longer bikes which is why i am getting an echo pure... and also it is slightly dodgy but DUDE, its $130 for a good(but weakened) frame, a regular fork just like the raceline ones, a headset that has never even been used by me, an ECHO BULGE BAR that has also NEVER been used by me, and a very high quality Salsa booster that looks great and works better . im practically giving this stuff away because it could probably go to better use than lying in a dump or hanging in my room or sitting on my desk taking up space or lying in the garage with all the other shit that sits in there . please do shut up not because im getting cut that you would try to mess with me selling this frame, because you have a big mouth...i bet you are from austrials.com messageboard HAH'!....jks ok...lol, im going a bit crazy, tehehehehe, time to go 2 bed its like 11.00 and i have a 7.00 start

a platinum pro bb costs 120 dollars from mals but that is like the second most expensive one you can get, so look around and you'll probably find a cheaper one somewhere.
