Hi again, this week I came across a dumped bike at the local tip. It looked too good initially, so I had to bring it home and see if it is of any import. Having looked at the internet, it seems there is some mild interest, and that it might have been a serious (ish) bike for its time before its time. Please keep in mind that I am not up with the technical side of bikes, so forgive my naviete. Its a Repco Victory Tri-A racer. The pedal have "MKS" or maybe NKS on them. Rims are Araya. Handlebars are "Nitto". The down side is that there is a crack in the front of the horizontal bar, into the thingy ?(sorry) the wider tube that it is welded into. Possibly why it was dumped. However, all else seems in good nick. I'd appreciate an opinion, as I am about to chop into a couple of frames and make a large frame to fit my 6' 4" tall body, so I wouldn't want to sacrifice it needlessly. Cheers, Vic

Joel would know about this, or Andre. I thought REPCO was an abreviation of Rely on Every Part Coming Off, well good luck Vic

MKS made pedals of many calibres, as well as nitto making bars, stems and seatposts of many calibres. As ever. Pics, pics, pics. If the frame is cracked it's rubbish, unless it's really valuable then maybe worth repairing.
Pics, pics, pics.
