Hi just wondering does anybody know what materials hope bulb front hubs are made from and anything about the manufacturing processes involved in the manufacture of the hubs.Thanks

I'd imagine that, as with most hub manufacture, they get a cylinder of aluminium, put it in a CNC lathe, bore a hole through the centre, then use a cutting tool to chisel out the external shape. I believe that hub uses press-fit bearings? then they would make a slightly widershoulder at the edges for the bearings, press them in, install the axle, and drill the required number of spoke holes. As for the material, I'd image it to be billet aluminium, probably not heat-treated (this adds mostly stiffness, which would not be necessary with such a shape, and would render the material more brittle)
