hey ok, i am sick of having spungie and slippery brakes, who has a brake booster that they want 2 sell 2 me for heaps-heaps cheap . coz i really dont wanna buy some fancy crap from mals for likr $80....thanx

Dude,
Get a Velocity Booster from mals they aren't expensive, (well they weren't when i got one).... Thats the only advice i can give... I don't have one as i have 4 bolt setup on the Brisa

well i have an xtr carbon vee brake booster got it cheap. They are about 100 retail i think and are the best booster out there by far! but otherwise any booster will help, but some are better than others. Salsa make good ones. Peace

hey yeah, the salsa ones at mals are $80 and mals said when i asked that velocity dosnt make brake boosters anymore . i just wanna get like a descent one second hand from someone for cheap-cheap . hehe,

have you ever heard of the yellow pages? it's the biggest book in most people's house, hard to miss. look under 'bicycles' and call all the shops in your area and ask them what they have...
the more expensive, generally, the better but ask about:
material, will usually be alum. thickness, anything over 5mm thick will be better than thin ones

ive got the velocity one (40$) but they always bend heaps cause they are fairly thin

The reason they bend so much is because you sit on it. If it bends just leave it like that and it wont bend further, too much any way. Also, if you get one that doesnt bend, eg carbon fiber, and sit on it with enough force it will snap. Either brake booster will be good.

hey hmmm, well mals have a reallyreally crap one of carbon fibre i think for about $20 but it is supposed 2 be really shit and they said that i really shouldnt get it......should i go for it or what?¿...

well if they say its really sh!t and you shouldn't get it, why would you get it? i doubt if it'll make much difference, but you could try if you're willing to gamble 20 bucks. you never know - it might be heaps good.
