hey hmmmm, not that i am really intending 2 drill my rims anytime soon, but i was just wondering if drilling rims is really worth it? like does it make ur rims weaker? does it really work on narrow rims ? (like mavic 521 cuz they r hella heavy!!)....does it cause any other problems with ur bike? stuff like that . just for the intrest, thats all. c yall

mavic 521s are light, not worth drilling in my opinion.

Drilling saves weight but on a fat rim like a dx32 it does not reduce a large amt of strength as compared to the somewhat narrow 521.
I'm getting an Alex(x) DX32, pre-grinded, pre-drilled WITH eyelets! (new) and puttin my Rhyno lite on the front.. should b sweet.
