Hey guys,
i just realised that i can make stickers for all our bikes!
our school has this xerox COLOUR lazer printer, and i can print onto clear adhesive drafting paper stuff to make professional style stickers!
so, heres the deal, ...im going to find out how much the paper costs (it uses a special type) and then im going to design and print a few stickers which u can buy. dont worry, im not going to be aiming for a profit or anything -this is totally fro enjoyment and fun, but ill need some money to cover the cost of the paper (heaps expensive) and ink. -they can be in colour!
if you have any designs or ideas that you think would be cool just email me them (preferrably in photoshop format so i can edit them). charles.murray@cgs.act.edu.au
i have something like 5000 fonts to choose from, and was thinking about designing them around the web address (www.canberratrials.com)

yeah!! that sounds hella cool!!! hehehe, i reckon definately design them around the website thing . make it look like the "austrialshop.com" logo . i rckon thats best, nothing too fancy, and if u want it 2 be heaps fancy(would also be good) have like some rustafarian pic or something ontop and put the site name under it....how much will we have 2 pay each....not too much?
i will send u some design or somethig coz i have nothing better 2 do coz its raining!!!

Hey, yeah that sounds like a sick idea charlie, i will try and make a design up now. i dont care how much they are, unless they are over $5 for one sticker, but im guessing it shouldnt be and a sheet will be like $2 max and ink will say be a dollar for black and white, and i just want black and white since thats what my bike is kinda, and a sticker one be the size of the sheet, therefor if you print a few stickers onto one sheet it hshould all work out quite cheap and sherro, are you gonna come riding soon? i can only find my "Mal Adjusted Design" sticker. It is basicly exactly the same as the mal adjusted plain black sticker except it has canberratrials.com on it. I made heaps of sticker designs, ill email them to you.

i have one with black red and maybe some white??? it is just like a long, red circle filled in with black with www.canberratrials.com inside it written in red bubble (square shape) letters . i dont know how 2 post it on this site . i will try . |

nice work guys
just remember to leave the text un-rendered, because if you render it, it will lose its edges and go heaps sketchy,
so, when you type in the 'www.canberratrials.com' site name into the picture, leave it in its own text box, dont 'flatten' the image,
-ask me if you want a more detailed description of what to do, but its pretty easy
also, try to use light colours, they will turn out the best on the paper and look better when on the bike.
-sherro, yes, we're allowed to use the printer, but you have to pay, and you have to get a teacher to sign into the computer to print to it. -just ask the techo's at the mmc to help.
-price, shouldnt be too much, i reckon we can get about 7 stickers to an A4 page (we can print A3 if we need to), so it should work out (this is a guesstimate) at about $3 to $4 for a whole page of stickers. The adhesive drafting transperancy is $140 for 50 A4 sheeets plus a bit more for ink, (im going to see if i can buy less than 50 sheets). Therefore each sticker should cost around 50cents -wow thats really cheap.
the only draw back is that i might have to buy the 50 pack of transparencies, in which case the price would skyrocket. -it might cost up to 15$ per person (to cover the costs (around 200$ total)) but for this 15$ you would basically get around 35 stickers -so its not too bad.
-if you want personalised stickers (like al -'alexx') so you can give your bike a name or something just tell me what you want for the words and i can do the rest

dont put the www in, its uncool, get with the times , i did heaps of designs and i think the best is CanberraTrials.com in that case. Also i think what would look best is either a black background with clear canberratrials.com or a clear background with a black canberratrials.com, that way it will go with every bike except maybe black ones, who has a black bike any way, Nick H is the only one i can think off. |

i reckon the www is better , but if u r gonna ake out the www u have 2 take out the .com otherwise it wont work, i reckon . but, i would keep the www anyway

how will it not work? if you type in canberratrials.com into your browser it will work and every one knows what it means any way. The biketrials.com stickers say BikeTrials dot com, the austrials site says austrials.com at the top,

i dunno, its just my opinion, i just reckon that the www makes it look more.....balanced?¿.......hehe, i rekon when every1 that wants 2 has made a design, we get some1 2 put all the logo's up on the forum and we have a poll whichever looks best;)....hehe, a bit of (friendly!) exitement on this forum.....and if u dont like it we can all just have a personalised one or something? hehe, i dunno.....i think i am talking 2 much.....c yall!

ok, sorry pv, im a bit out dated when it comes to the sticker design of your calibre! but, what do you guys think of strapping onto biketrials and going for
canberratrials dot com
or even c.a.n.b.e.r.r.a.t.r.i.a.l.s.-dot- c.o.m
or perhaps c.a.n.b.e.r.r.a.t.r.i.a.l.s(dot)c.o.m...
just some ideas, kind of take the piss a bit....
