all i know is that it has - 48 engagement points
- has the 6-bolt ISO disc fitting
- 1 year warrenty
- Its only just come out so me along with peace and dan, maybe a few others will be riding/testing them.
they are supposed to be of the same sort of design as hope but with moreengagements so it should be strong, i dont know weight yet however i'd imagine it wouldnt beb too heavy. i'll have it built up by the end of the holidays i hope and i will start testing it then. For hardly any information, go here www.middleburn.co.uk/hubreardisc.htmmiddleburn are an engineering company aswell as a bike company so their stuff should be of good quality. Just look at their cranks

hey guys,
dont know if you know about this already, but check out biketrials.com for a review on the 'stealth hub' -its supposed to be like a silent clutch -only heaps better engagement (better than a king !)-supposedly, only problem appears to be the 600g weight... but hey, strength usually comes at a price!
-have a look, its pretty ugly actually!

hehe, that actually looks pretty cool i reckon. the weight is a pregnant dog , and it should come in shiny red!! like my hope. i swear to god, shiny red is only the best colour for a rear hub . i think that i am becoming a real big "weight-weenie" (quote from that review) aswell, my bike is sortof heavy , but instant engagement sounds cool . wouldnt the hub be practically unbreakable then because .....u know....the thing when u kick the pedals heaps hard and it makes a "ding!" sound (on nutsty hubs mostly), but on instant engagement wont the hub not get beaten at all coz there aint no DING?¿ if so i would definately go for one and then comprimise some weight by doing something else . Drill front rim, save up for some brisa disc only forks(that would take HEAPS long coz middleburns are first and thats gonna take MONTHS!) ......but i guess 600 grams aint gonna do all that much, maybe some small comprimises will do if u bought one of those hubs, but nothing drastic .
im not about 2 get a new hub, anyway...

yeah.....600 grams is alot, but INSTANT ENGAGEMENT! hehehe . nah, i still wouldnt get it.....chris king is almost instant anyway, and instant engagement isnt really that necassary . if it got lighter the stealth hub would be mad! .... neway...i am not about 2 get a new hub....hope bulb is cool . just think...."shiny red, shiny red, shiny red!"
how comu need a freehub alex?....i thought u had a fron freewheel!

its only 100 g more than a silent clutch if that. plus the extra power you get from instant engagement would easily compensate for the extra weight.
