Hi guys , can you tell me does it metter at what angle the rim is grinded,and what tool should I use to grind it . I was going to grind it with a rasper , but decided to ask first Denis , Bulgaria

Hey there, Yeah, it matters what angle, the more 'vertical' you grind, the better or...your rim should look like this | | | | | on the rim The best Tool or method would have to be is using an Angle grinder with a Grinding disc or Stone disc (The Canberrians should be able to tell you more as they're a pro at this stuff, i'm only a Brissynair)

use a 4" / 100mm grinder with the roughest disc you can find. drag it back across the rim in quick strokes with lots of pressure. You don't want to remove too much material but you also want to cut deeply. It takes a bit of practise.

i grind my rims on around a 30 - 45degree angle, or thereabouts - or that may be because of my height
just push hard onto the rim making sure u leave it in the same spot and grind away
and hope u dont see the inner wall

another way i do it id hold the angle grinder and just glide it across the rim at about 35 degrees and lightly let the angle grinder bounce, when it lands it will dig in deep and bounce again, do it in about 10cm wipes, it works for me
