hey there again guys, i just had an idea for a post that i think could be pretty cool if everyone chipped in... what's the best bike money can buy?? i want frame, forks, cranks, hubs (bearing in mind the warranty debarcles chrisking is having), tyres, derailleur, bars, stem, grips, everything (even bottombrackets and chains... the lot!) and dont worry abou tprice or value either (unless it's like 10 times the price for no reason) post your list of components (with prices if you know them) have fun dreaming ;D charlie

well my dream bike is coming soon, so i haven't really got much to say.. I just want something with nice parts. looks nice, feels nice to ride and thats about it Sorry no more to say, just a couple of pics ~Sean P.s- if anyone interested they are $1700 complete wihout brakes, They come with some sweet parts !!

well was goin to say the new bianchi (crescent designed) bike... 10.6kgs!!, then i thought the megamo equip, then i read seanA post.
Yer an echo team mod.... wif chrisking and some dialed in maguras... nowt better!!!
or ... for stock a pure... they look real nice!!

frame:
Litespeed Tanasi frame (17.5") with standard headtube (litespeeds have integrated headsets - ugh...only flaw)
front end:
marzocchi Z2 super fly air damped forks - travel shrunk by 1/3 - high air pressure CK ISO disc front hub w/ hope ti skewer salsa rim marwin ti dye spokes hutchy latex tube w/ python tire easton EA50 110mm stem easton EC 90 flat bar (99 grams, lifetime warranty - cool !) monty grips (love these grips - so comfy)
brakes:
simple - hope mini F + R (can't beat these for XC)
OR
if I was a weight weenie (IF?!) avid arch ultimate (NOT arch supreme) calipers w/ ultimate levers and flak jacket cabling (and swap ISO hubs to classics - save around 500g all up)
rear wheel:
chris king ISO disc hub (duh) w/ hope ti skewer marwin ti dye spokes laced to salsa rim michelin hotS 2.1 tyre w/ latex tube
drivetrain:

actually it fits the monty stem and pazzazz stem as well but I WAS talking about the short echo stem seb...

i also have a ritchey o/s (31.8)clamp stem (very vbery strong and insanely light!!!) very xpensive!, 90 mm , black and silver looks da bomb... designed for downhill and trials!! ITS 4 SALE... $130 bargain!!!
