if you're not planning on being too competitive i'd be keen. although i guess i could start doing a few more k's on the roadie.

in that case, i'm keen. team of 4 works out at around 100 bucks each yeah? thinking that old (but possibly never seen dirt) steel diamond back under my house may make a good SS with a few parts swapped out.

just had a thought: i'm probably not allowed to call my bike a roadie, it's seen more offroad action than my real mountain bike in the last 6 months.

Sounds Great Joel, accept that I don't have a single speed and already kind of had a team lined up. Find a nice bike for me to ride and I might be up for it though

no stick with your current team (ANUMC again?) Michael. Alex and JoelO are wildly different heights to myself and as such probably can't share my bike.
Then again, Little Joel is looming over me from upon his stoop. Perhaps he would be OK on my bike after all. Are you fit Joel? You/we have a while to become so anyway.

on the roadie i have no problems averaging over 25km/h for an hour (fairly flat though), thats about the longest i've ridden on it at this stage, have 3 hours off tomorrow though, may go for a bit of a ride.
still looking to improve though.
any idea how far it is around lake ginninderra taking both bridges?

will you be home any time tomorrow, i have some $$ for you
at this stage, excepting any unforseeable injuries or similar, you can put me down as a yes. my suspicion is that i will not be getting any taller, but i will sort out a suitable ride.
when do entries need to be in by? when is the actual race?

the actual race is later int he year and I think entries open in a couple of months.
Around lake Ginninderra should take you less than 25mins.
