Yeah the stickers were off it when i got it! :S It is a 2000 MONGOOSE EXPERT which has Maxxis front and rear tyres, and the the standard parts, 1 pc cranks but trust me unless ur like pro you will never break them. They are made for (according to the BMX catalogue that year) Dirtjumping/BMX Racing. But it says its also good for street moves thus it has rear pegs.

Giro's are no probelm to put on it.. I raced it as a BMX in Canberra (Melba track) it was cool. I didnt get giro cos they are illegal for racing for some gay reason. They cost about 40 bucks if you really want one and BMX aint that expensive either. for example the best BMX Tyre is a MAXXIS MAXX DADDY and it retails for $25 and its as a good as the DH range but cos of its size.

dude isnt the idea that u hav the pegs on one side so that u can grind? also id say that giro's are illegal for racing cos they just put more stuff in the way of the cables and thus more stuff that can break or fail. U also need a detangler thingy that splits the cable into two and another one on the other side if u want it to go back to one cable. mabe they come with them, i dont know. Some of the newer brakleavers have room for two cables so that u dont need a detangler. so does it run fine? oh and i should ask, do u still have it? nething bent (chainring, BB, cranks)? im looking for a lakejumping bike, but i dont know if id pay 150. they sell many bikes on tuesdays in the paper for under 100 bucks...
