Boy it seems tempting to go for a Front Freewheel setup now instead of buying an awesome hub, Square Tapered Crank, Rear fixed hub = oh yeah But i think Harley's out of Square tapered...so I guess i'm gonna have to wait and get that new Hope Trials Stainless Steel hub from www.chainreactioncycles.com

Hi Don,
If you're not in a rush, I've got the new 2005 hubs arriving in next week. The new cranks should be arrving 2 weeks after that.
In my opinion, a FFW setup engages faster. I think this is because when you turn the cranks, only the front FFW needs to be engaged, While in the normal rear freewheel hub, when you turn the cranks, the chain have to move back to engage the rear freewheel.

In either system the chain will have to tension.
Whether it be engage then tension or tension then engage i dont think the difference would be noticable. However a ffw setup is definatly the best "cheap" option.

it has to be said though, Harley's hubs roll smoother than anything I've ever seen, including high end ceramic bearings on road hubs. Crazy smooth.

Gd Day Mates,
Joel, thank you for the kind words, I'm just really happy that you guys choose me to provide the trials products that you need. If there is anything else I could do, please let me know. I will do my best to help.
Yea Don, the new hubs are fixed as well, I have changed the cassette body to AL7075 so that is is lighter yet stiffer. The 2005 front hub is modelled after the Megamo front disc hub which is light yet tough. They are already on their way here and I will be sure to post pictures of them as soon I receive them.
Thank you mates!
