I have a brisa bar and stem which I seem to have a mental block about remembering to give to Harley so you can perhaps have them until I remember to give them to Harley (which is never). Ash is currently running on one of my front trials wheels but will be building up his own soon - you could probably run that or I could build you another one with an XT non-disc hub. Radial coolness anyone?

I have a mongoose stem and possibly a koxx tryall bar as well. bear in mind i've had the bar for a long time and a lot broke, however i did not replace it because i thought it would break. Which frame may I ask?

spokes too. You'll need spokes. I'll build the wheel for somewhere between zero dollars and twenty dollars if you like.

are those LBS prices or somewhere on the internet prices?
ETA is still around christmas time but could be sooner or later depending on build and stuff. most likely later.

and would a 75mm*7 degree rise stem be a good place to start working out the cockpit?
one more question for the moment, roughly what is a set of middleburns worth at the moment? with bashy and 22T ring? having a bit of trouble getting a hold of peace.

Peace might take a bit, his email is now peace (at) kitepower.com.au. No idea on price, it's been years since I bought mine. Just make sure you get the ISIS version, don't cheap out there.
the stem sounds like a fine place to start but really you won't know what's right until you've tried at least one stem. The wheelbase of the bike will typically dictate the stem length in order for you to get the right reach.
The spoke prices are LBS prices, you may do better if Mal's recognises you or you have an mtba/corc membership (typically 10% off).

in figure i'd start with that stem since i already own it. i don't get into Mal's often enough to be recongnised these days but with a new bike build hapenning i'm sure i will be in there a fair bit over the enxt few months.
